Christian Dürr has been serving as Fraktionsvorsitzender of the Fraktion der Freien Demokraten since October 2017, after previously holding the position of Stellvertretender Fraktionsvorsitzender. As part of this role, Christian Dürr is the top candidate on the FDP state list and a direct candidate in constituency 28 (Delmenhorst - Wesermarsch - Oldenburg Land), while also leading the working group on budget and finance titled "Ein Staat, der rechnen kann." Prior to this, Christian Dürr was the Vorsitzender der FDP-Landtagsfraktion Niedersachsen and a member of the Niedersächsischen Landtag from February 2003 to October 2017. Additionally, Christian Dürr was a Gesellschafter at Georg Strudthoff Lederwaren und Sporthof E. Flocke from 2009 to 2013. Christian Dürr earned a Diplom-Ökonom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Leibniz Universität Hannover between 1998 and 2007.
