Stephanie Chung is a dedicated researcher with extensive experience in maternal and child health, epidemiology, and mental health services. Currently holding dual fellowships at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Stephanie's role as a Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Individual Predoctoral Fellow and Pre-Doctoral Trainee focuses on reproductive, perinatal, and pediatric epidemiology. Stephanie has contributed to numerous organizations, including FHI 360 as an Associate Scientist and FP2030 as an Early Career Fellow. Previous roles include managing an Assertive Community Treatment team at Pathways to Housing DC, conducting ethnographic research on healthcare in Madagascar, and engaging in various community support projects. Stephanie obtained a PhD in Maternal and Child Health and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Lee University, graduating summa cum laude.
