Amanda Joan Julian M Banura is an experienced professional in public relations and youth advocacy, currently serving as a Public Relations Specialist at Limone Medical Centre since April 2023. Amanda holds a position on the Board of Directors for the Straight Talk Foundation and has been the Chief Executive Director at UYAFPAH since January 2014. With a focus on youth issues, Amanda has been the Youth Focal Point for FP2030 since May 2019 and previously coordinated efforts as the Country Coordinator for the International Youth Alliance on Family Planning from November 2013 to January 2018. Early experience includes roles as News Editor, anchor, and reporter at Radio Sapientia 94.4fm and as a Studio Assistant at Radio Maria Uganda. Amanda's academic qualifications include an Associate's degree in Public Health from Allison Foundation, a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Uganda Martyrs University, and a diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from UMCAT School of Journalism.
