Mariela Deras

Mariela Deras has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mariela started their career as an Assistant in the distribution department at Metro Goldwyn Mayer in 2004. Mariela then moved on to work as a Traffic Coordinator at Colgate Palmolive in 2005. In 2006, they worked as an Assistant in the Distribution department at Sony Pictures Entertainment. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Graphic Designer, designing various promotional materials and campaigns for different clients. Mariela then worked as a Graphic Designer/Accounts Receivable at Samuel Goldwyn Films/IDP in 2007, where they designed advertisements and invitations for various films. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Bed Bath & Beyond as a Project Manager, overseeing the in-store presentation of designer brands and creating packaging designs. Mariela then worked at Gilmore Group as a Project Manager from 2012 to 2013, handling project coordination and client meetings. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Associate Director of Integrated Sales & Marketing at Fox Hispanic Media. Finally, they joined Fox Networks Group in 2015, where they worked in various roles, including Associate Director of Entertainment Brand Activation and Director of Client Solutions for FOX Entertainment.

Mariela Deras obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Communications Design from Pratt Institute between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they acquired a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications and Art History from the University of Maryland from 1997 to 2001. In addition, they hold a certification in Marketing Foundations from The Trade Desk Edge Academy, acquired in 2022.
