Forrest Schafer is currently a Learning Experience Designer at FourthRev. Prior to this, they were a Media Producer at Pearson South Africa from May 2019 to March 2021. There, they were responsible for conceptualising, creating, and assembling digital assets in collaboration with in-house and external content developers. Forrest also briefed external content creators and partners on the creation of digital content, and project managed the production of digital content with both internal teams and external vendors. Forrest was also a Learning Designer at Hubble Studios from January 2018 to April 2019, where they wrote, edited and proofread course content for client projects, including 
course notes, assessment and video scripts.
 Forrest also collaborated with subject matter experts to elicit expert content, collaborated with videographers and graphic designers to create multimedia 
education content, and performed quality assurance of the overall learning experience for multiple projects.

Forrest Schafer has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Linguistics from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Arts - BA in English, Linguistics, Media and Cultural Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. They also have various certifications from LinkedIn in Writing with Impact, Inclusive Instructional Design, UX/UI Design Foundations, Accessibility, and Design Composition. Additionally, they are certified by Uxcel in UX/UI Design Foundations and by Coursera in Instructional Design Foundations and Applications.

Forrest Schafer reports to Lisa Visagie, Senior Learning Experience Designer. They are on a team with Hannel Ham - Learning Experience Designer, Divya Bharti - Learning Experience Designer, and Bec Bryson - Learning Experience Designer.
