Jake Quiring has a diverse work experience in various roles. Jake started their career as a Group Manager and Truck Driver at Interstate Special Events in 2012. In 2013, they interned at IBM, where they focused on writing regression tests and fixing defects in software programs. Jake also worked on integrating software tests into nightly builds and prototyping a Java-based J Unit replacement. Jake then joined Potlatch Corporation as a Corporate IT Intern in 2014, where they maintained and upgraded software on critical systems and created a script to automate data transfer, saving time. In 2015, they joined Foureyes as a Software Developer before being promoted to Senior Software Developer in 2018. Throughout their career, Jake has also served as a Professor's Assistant and Tutor at the Gonzaga University Computer Science Department.

Jake Quiring attended Gonzaga University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
