Karen O'Malley is an experienced professional in international program management, currently serving as the International Programme Manager (Companion Animals) at FOUR PAWS since July 2021, where the focus is on ending the dog and cat meat trade in Southeast Asia. Previously, Karen held the position of International Project Manager (Companion Animals) at Nimble Management Ltd, providing management solutions for events across multiple regions. With extensive experience at World Horse Welfare, including roles such as Head of International Programmes and Deputy Head of International Training, Karen demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and multi-project management across various global regions. Additional experience includes organizing seminars and lobbying within the UK. Education includes a Postgraduate Certificate in International Poverty Reduction from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor's Degree in Equine Studies from Writtle University College.
