Waseem Omar has a long history in software engineering. In 2008, they worked as a Cars Imbeded Computer Systems for Germany Technical Workshop. From 2009 to 2011, they were an IBM WebSphere Commerce Developer for Infinite tiers. During this time, they built e-commerce applications, trained computer engineers, tested web applications, built front end pages, and performed system administration and monitoring. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Senior Software Engineer for RESpodo where they customizing/created new controller commands, task commands, access beans, data beans, entity beans, and views, wrote ant build scripts, and created outbound web services. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Senior Software Engineer for ASAL Technologies where they worked as a C#/WPF developer building monitoring and testing tools for Intel's R&D department. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead for FounderTherapy. Waseem'srole involves working with founders to make their startups more likely to succeed through software product development, engineering, operations, sales development, team development, and startup business strategy.

Waseem Omar received a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from An-Najah National University in Nablus in 2009, with a focus in Software Development and Computer Engineering. In 2010, they obtained a certification in IBM Websphere Commerce Application Server Development from IBM.
