Molly McFarland has extensive work experience in various roles, ranging from strategy and business development to project management and volunteer work. Molly is currently the Strategy & Business Development Lead at Founders Pledge. Prior to that, they worked at Meta as a Strategic Partner Manager, Crisis & Humanitarian - Social Impact, where they collaborated with nonprofits and INGOs to drive improved humanitarian response. Molly also served as a Deputy Chief of Party and Senior Project Manager at Management Systems International, where they oversaw the implementation of projects. Additionally, they have experience as an Entrepreneurship Fellow at Dreaming Out Loud, Inc., a Training Support Assistant at FINCA International, and an Ebola Recovery Project Consultant at PwC. Molly's work also includes being an Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps, an ID Solutions and Logistics Coordinator at Mindbody, and a Teaching Assistant with the Teaching Assistant Program in France USA.
Molly McFarland holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Development Management from American University. Molly also completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Modern Language and Literature at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. In addition to their formal education, Molly obtained certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the Peace Corps in 2014.
