Remco Pieters is an experienced professional in the field of food quality and certification, currently serving as the Certification Integrity Manager at Foundation FSSC since February 2024. Prior to this role, Remco spent nearly 19 years at Lloyd's Register as the Technical Manager for Food in North Europe, specializing in ISO22000 and FSSC22000 standards. Earlier in the career, Remco held positions at Lamb Weston Meijer as a Quality Assurance Supervisor and at Bakkersland Terneuzen B.V. as a Quality Manager, where responsibilities included managing teams, optimizing production quality, and implementing compliance systems. Remco's educational background includes a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology and Processing from HAS Green Academy.
