Alex Hem is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and sustainability initiatives. As Chief of Staff at the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research since February 2024, Alex leverages a strong background in agricultural development and operations. Previously, Alex worked at AeroFarms as a Senior Project Manager in Abu Dhabi, overseeing the establishment of a cutting-edge agricultural research facility. Additional roles include project management and operations analysis at AeroFarms and an English teaching position at Uniwise Bilingual School in China. Earlier experience includes work with Harvard University’s Office for Sustainability, where Alex promoted environmental awareness, and a research assistant position at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University, complemented by studies in Economics.
