Alexa Calderon has a strong background in financial wellness and community outreach. Currently working as the Financial Wellness Program Coordinator at Foundation Communities, Alexa oversees various initiatives to maximize financial benefits for program participants. Prior to this role, Alexa served as the Tax Intake Lead at a local non-profit VITA center and has experience as a Peer Advisor and Teacher Assistant at St. Edward's University. Alexa also facilitated knowledge development as a Peer Group Leader focusing on local to global food security research. Alexa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies with a focus on Business & Economics and European Studies from St. Edward's University.
