Angela Joyner, M.Ed., serves as the Chief Academic Officer at Capstone Education Group since July 2024 and has been the Principal at Foundation Academies since January 2020, where responsibilities include steering instructional and operational directives for student success. Previous roles include Principal and Dean of Instruction at Gestalt Community Schools, where Angela implemented comprehensive improvement plans and cultivated collaborative leadership, as well as founding Academy Director at Frayser Community Schools, focusing on teacher development and innovative programs. With extensive experience that includes a Principal Fellowship at Relay Graduate School of Education and roles as Academic Dean of Students and Literacy Specialist at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Angela holds a Master's Degree in Executive Leadership from Gardner-Webb University and has a strong background in strategic leadership, academic improvement, and teacher support.
