Kelly Cain has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Starting in 2022, they worked at FosterAdopt Connect as the Director of Volunteer Engagement and Special Projects, as well as a Special Project Coordinator. Prior to that, they were a Case Supervisor at Jackson County CASA from 2021 to 2022. From 2015 to 2021, they held the role of Director of Resource Development at FosterAdopt Connect. Before that, they worked as a Foster Care Case Manager II at Cornerstones of Care in 2014. From 2012 to 2014, they were an Early Childhood Education Specialist at Independence School District. Additionally, they served as the Manager of Special Projects/Bullsheet Editor at The Kansas City Barbeque Society from 2008 to 2013, and as an Adoptions Social Worker at Burke County DSS from 2006 to 2008.
Kelly Cain pursued their education in Psychology, starting with an Associate's degree from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, which they completed between 1997 and 1999. Later, from 2000 to 2001, they attended Pittsburg State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
