Barbara Kempf, LMSW has over 25 years of experience in the field of social work. Barbara began their career in 1994 as a Permanency Supervisor, Intensive Supervision Officer, and Juvenile Resource Developer & Court Officer at The Farm, Inc., Johnson County Community Corrections, 10th Judicial District, and Wyandotte Co. DCF. In 2005, they joined KVC Behavioral Healthcare as the Director of Permanency Services and progressed to the role of Permanency Supervisor. In this position, they oversaw a team of 80 staff members and was responsible for the clinical and financial management of all programs. Barbara then joined the Wyandotte County Health Department in 2016 as a Clinical Program Manager. Currently, they work at FosterAdopt Connect as the Vice President of Family Programs since June 2019.
Barbara Kempf, LMSW, obtained their Master's Degree in Social Work from The University of Kansas. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, also at The University of Kansas. In addition to their academic achievements, Barbara holds several certifications and qualifications. Barbara is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) licensed by the Behavioral Science Regulation Board in the State of Kansas. Barbara is also a Master's Level Social Work Field Practicum Instructor at the University of Kansas, Washburn University, and the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Furthermore, Barbara is a certified Permanency Round Table Trainer through Casey Family Services.
