John Hørlyk has over 29 years of work experience, starting as a Procurement Engineer at the Danish Army Technical Command in 1992. John then moved on to roles at The Royal Veterinary & Agricultural University and SFK Technology A/S before joining FOSS in 1999. During their time at FOSS, they held various positions such as Product Department Manager, Team Lead for Innovation and Development, and Segment Product Manager for Dairy. In 2011, they transitioned to Struers ApS as the Director of Product Marketing, where they managed global product offerings and led international projects. John returned to FOSS in 2021 as the VP of Technical Product Management, overseeing the technical performance and lifecycle management of the Milk Business Unit's product portfolio.

John Hørlyk completed their B. Sc in Electronics and Optics from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 1992. Prior to that, they attended Nørrevangsskolen and also received education from the Danish Navy.
