Kim Wasson is the owner of Forward Stride Stables and a previous board member of Love INC Lake County Southwest. Kim has also worked as a pharmacist for Walgreens, Good Shepherd Outpatient Anticoagulation Clinic, and Dispensary Of Hope. Kim started their career in 1981 as a pharmacist for Walgreens and eventually became the store manager. In 2006, they left Walgreens to work as a pharmacist for Good Shepherd Outpatient Anticoagulation Clinic. Kim left Good Shepherd in 2010 to join Dispensary Of Hope as a member of the National Advisory Committee. Kim has been involved with horses their entire life and has owned their own stable, Forward Stride Stables, since 1999.

Kim Wasson attended Midwestern College of Pharmacy, where they earned their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Kim also holds a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University in Pharmacy.
