Hugo Piccin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Decoration Product Line Team Leader and Material Expert specializing in wood, carbon, and premium surfaces at FORVIA since September 2018. Prior to this role, Hugo held positions at Faurecia Interior Systems from March 2006, where responsibilities included launching innovative wood surface technologies and leading teams to develop lightweight surface materials. Hugo's career includes significant achievements in innovation, including the development of natural fiber composites and bio-based polymers, alongside a noteworthy portfolio of six granted and pending patents. Hugo's background also encompasses roles at EADS AIRBUS and the Wood Science Technology Centre, showcasing a strong foundation in engineering and research in wood composites.
