Diego Almeida is an experienced legal professional with a diverse background in corporate and regulatory law, particularly within the mining sector. Currently serving as a Senior Paralegal at Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. since April 2022, Diego previously held the position of Corporate Law Clerk at Lundin Mining Corporation. Prior roles include Research Fellow at the Canadian Institute of Resources Law and Associate Attorney at Andrade Veloz Abogados, where representation of mining firms before regulatory agencies and contract negotiation were key responsibilities. Diego's experience also encompasses positions in procurement, municipal law, and civil law, demonstrating a comprehensive legal expertise.
