Jeff Block, CTP, CFA, currently serves as AVP of Treasury, New Business Evaluation and Integration at Fortitude Re since October 2022. Prior to this role, Jeff held the position of Executive Director of Global Treasury at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated from September 2014 to October 2022. Jeff's experience also includes serving as Treasurer at Longer Life Foundation from November 2015 to November 2020, Manager of Treasury Operations at JBT Corporation from February 2009 to July 2014, and Director at Thomson Reuters, where oversight of a team of analysts generated significant revenue. Early career roles included Associate Director at Thomson Financial, Associate at ABN AMRO, and Fixed Income Trader at Fidelity Investments. Jeff holds a BS in Finance and a Minor in Economics from the University of Dayton, an MBA from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Master of Liberal Arts from the University of Chicago.
