Tony Zhang is a researcher at fortiss, specializing in human-centered engineering since June 2020. Zhang has contributed to projects like KIEZ 4-0, focusing on certifying AI in aviation with an emphasis on human factors, and HumanE AI Net, exploring AI-assisted decision-making and interactions with large language models. Prior experience includes an internship at Autonomous Intelligent Driving GmbH, where Zhang modeled vehicle actuation dynamics for SAE level 4 autonomous vehicles. Academic achievements include a master's thesis at RWTH Aachen University on image synthesis using neural networks, resulting in a very good grade, and a bachelor's thesis on biomechanical parameter estimation, also graded very good.
