Mark Willms is an experienced professional in the field of geomatics engineering with a strong background in surveying and project management. Currently serving as a Planning and Design Technologist at FortisBC since July 2017, Mark previously held significant roles, including Senior Surveyor at SNC-Lavalin for the Evergreen Rapid Transit project and Kiewit/Flatiron General Partnership, where responsibilities involved accurate positioning of bridge structures. Earlier experience includes positions at Papove Professional Land Surveying, Bilfinger Berger (Canada) Inc., JBM Datasystem, and Woolpert, where Mark developed expertise in legal surveying, utility construction, and support for photogrammetry and GIS projects. Mark earned a diploma in Geomatics Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
