Brian Gural has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brian began their career in the military, serving as a Platoon Leader/Executive Officer in the U.S. Infantry from 2006 to 2012. During this time, they oversaw the discipline, development, and combat readiness of a team and executed numerous combat operations.
Following their military service, Brian joined Grace Community Church in 2011 as the Director of Domestic and International Culturally Engaged programs. In this role, they provided directional leadership and managed operations and programs across South Carolina and six foreign countries. Brian developed and managed economic development and community empowerment programs and served as the primary liaison for partnering organizations. Brian held this position until 2017.
In 2012, Brian also joined the Army National Guard as a Major in the U.S. Infantry. Brian held various key positions, including Battalion Operations Officer, where they were responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising training, command and control, and operations for over 680 soldiers and 120 vehicles. Brian'sexpertise covered disaster response, overseas combat operations, and multi-national liaison missions.
Since 2017, Brian has been working at Fortis, initially as the Security Team Coordinator and currently as the President. Brian'sroles involve managing and coordinating security operations and leading the company's overall strategic direction.
Brian Gural earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and History from The Citadel in 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on International Business at the Darla Moore School of Business from 2016 to 2019.
