Shawn Foust is an experienced executive in the gaming industry, currently serving as COO at Fortis Games since June 2021, where the focus is on building a design lane company. Prior to this role, Foust held the position of Vice President of Central Operations at WB Games from June 2018 to March 2021 and led Portfolio Strategy, Central Product Management, Community Operations, and Network initiatives. Earlier career highlights include serving as Vice President of Central Product Management at PlexChat, where Foust was the CEO and Co-Founder before the company was acquired by WB Games. Foust also worked as SVP of Business Operations at Machine Zone, Inc., which involves business development and corporate communications, and was the CEO of Quark Games prior to its acquisition by Machine Zone. Foust began the professional journey as an Associate and head of the Video Game Industry Team at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP. Academically, Foust holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science, History, and International Relations from the University of California, Davis.
