Chris Hevey currently serves as the Director of National Accounts at Fortis Fire & Safety, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Chris was the Division Leader at American Fire Protection Group, Inc. from October 2022 to September 2024. Chris has significant experience in the fire protection industry, having worked as an Area Sprinkler Manager and Operations Manager at Johnson Controls between November 2018 and October 2022. Earlier, Chris served as the Sr. Project Manager for the National Projects Division at Kirlin and as a Project Manager at National Fire Protection, LLC. Chris began a career in fire protection with SimplexGrinnell, where roles included Project Manager, Sprinkler Designer, and Sprinkler Fitter. Chris's professional foundation includes military service as SSGT in the US Army and a Project Management certification from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, along with a High School diploma focused on Math and Construction from Westminster High School.
