Jim Cusick is a seasoned professional in information security and operations with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Director of Cloud Security and Director of SaaS Operations at Fortinet since December 2020, Cusick previously held the position of VP Operations at Panopta, and served as Sr Director of Security at Wolters Kluwer Health, overseeing information security for Clinical Effectiveness. Cusick's tenure at Emmi involved several executive roles, including Vice President of Information Security, where responsibilities included building technical teams and managing IT infrastructure. Early career experiences include positions as Network Engineer at optionMONSTER, Sr Network Engineer at Hostway Corporation, Director of Operations Engineering at Ameritech, and Network Technology Specialist at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District. Cusick holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Fine Arts from Loyola University Chicago.
