Siwei Chen is a highly skilled geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Fortescue since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing operations at the Chichester and Western hubs. Prior to this role, Siwei worked as a Geotechnical Engineer and Graduate Geotechnical Engineer. Experience also includes a position as a Borehole Logger at MineGeoTech from June 2016 to December 2018, alongside a Research Assistant role at the University of Science and Technology of Liaoning in 2014. Siwei Chen holds a PhD candidacy in Geotechnical Engineering from Curtin University and a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering and Transportation Engineering, respectively, from the University of Science and Technology Liaoning.
