Philip Tuet has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Philip is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Fortera Corporation, where they are involved in the development of a new cementitious material that helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Prior to this, Philip worked at Bloom Energy for nearly a decade as a Senior Manager in the Materials Processing EBU/SCM. Philip successfully managed the construction and commissioning of a supplier's ceramic processing production plant, resulting in significant cost savings for the company. Before joining Bloom Energy, Philip worked as a Senior Engineer at Calera Corporation, where they played a key role in managing a DOE Grant for Carbon Capture and Sequestration. Furthermore, they have experience as a Pharmaceutical Engineer II at JM Hyde Consulting, where they led a project reviewing manufacturing process systems. Philip has also worked as a Contractor at Amgen and as a Lead Engineer at Eaton Corp. Prior to that, they were a Catalyst Engineer II at Catalytica Energy Systems Inc., where they worked on the development of commercial products. Philip began their career as a Lab Intern at U.C. Davis and as a Cell Banking/Audit Intern at U.C. San Francisco, where they gained experience in cell culture techniques and biological research methods.
Philip Tuet obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Westmoor HS and HHMS, although the start and end years, as well as the degree and field of study, are unknown for both institutions.
