Gal Bligh has a diverse work history with experience in various roles and industries. Gal began their career in the Israel Defense Forces, where they served as a Technological Intelligence Analyst and later became the Head of an Operative Intelligence Team. After leaving the military, Gal worked at Kidum, where they held multiple positions, including Manager of Training Programs for Psychometry Instructors, Prep Instructor for the Psychometric Exam, and R&D Team Member. During this time, they also taught as a Statistics Lecturer at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Gal then joined Ofek MITAM as a Prep Instructor for the Israeli entrance exam for advanced degrees in psychology. Gal subsequently worked as a Psychologist at Triest Sarig. Gal also gained experience in the healthcare field as a Psychologist at Sheba - Tel HaShomer Hospital. Most recently, they have been working at Forter, first as a Fraud Analyst, then as an Analytics Team Leader, Director of Core Analytics, and currently as a Principal Researcher.
Gal Bligh attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and philosophy. Gal then pursued further education at Bar-Ilan University from 2008 to 2010, earning a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology.
