Katie Hone Wiltgen has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries and roles. Katie is currently working as the Chief Education Officer at Forte since March 2023. Prior to this, Katie was the Conductor and Co-Founder of Maroon Bel Canto Choirs since 2010. Katie also held various positions at the Aspen Music Festival and School, including Dean of Education and Community from May 2021 to March 2023, and Director of Education and Community Programming from August 2014 to May 2021.

Before joining the Aspen Music Festival and School, Katie worked at the Roaring Fork School District as the Director of Choirs and Bands at Basalt Middle & High Schools from December 2005 to August 2014. Katie also served as the Music Director at Theatre Aspen from June 2009 to August 2010, and worked as a Ski Instructor at Aspen Skiing Company from November 2005 to March 2007.

Additionally, Katie has experience in the camp industry, having worked as the C.I.T. Program Director and Counselor at OMNI Camp from June 2001 to August 2002. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in education, music, and leadership roles.

Katie Hone Wiltgen pursued their education in the field of music education and conducting. Katie obtained their Bachelor of Music degree from Miami University between 2000 and 2004. Later, they furthered their studies and earned a Master of Music degree from Colorado State University, specializing in Music Education and Conducting, during the period of 2007 to 2009.
