Elaine Pelletier is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in the credit-related insurance industry. Currently serving as Vice President and Actuary at Fortegra since June 2022, Elaine previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Actuary at The Plateau Group, Inc., where responsibilities included supporting credit-related insurance products and developing data analysis skills using Access databases. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President & Chief Actuary at Fortegra and Actuarial Consultant at CreditRe Corporation, with a focus on actuarial support and regulatory compliance. Elaine's career began as a Rate Analyst at Transamerica and a High School Mathematics Teacher at Brandon Hall School. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Maine, having also attended Duke University.
