Bjørn Erik Glomsrud has extensive work experience in the field of software development and architecture. Bjørn Erik is currently employed at Forte Digital as a Senior Software Architect. Prior to that, they worked at VISAVI Technology as the CTO, where they were responsible for software architecture and development of advanced data warehouse and data mining applications for the oil & gas and processing industries. Bjørn Erik also served as a Technical Lead at VISAVI Technology.

Before their role at VISAVI Technology, Glomsrud worked at Tieto as a Senior Software Architect and Scrum Master. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for municipalities in Norway, utilizing technologies such as SQL-databases, Clarion, C# .NET, web services, Html, and JavaScript.

Glomsrud's previous experience includes working as a Systems Engineer at Compusoft, where they developed source control plug-ins for Visual Studio and performed SQL performance tuning. Bjørn Erik also worked as a Solution Architect and System Developer at TietoEnator and as a Technical Manager at Sporten.no.

Additionally, Glomsrud has experience as a System Developer at n3sport as, where they developed internet web shops with payment solutions and managed technical aspects. Bjørn Erik also worked at Compaq Computer Corporation as a Consultant, developing various small internet projects and creating a fax solution.

Glomsrud has a strong background in system development and has held various technical and managerial roles throughout their career.

Bjørn Erik Glomsrud began their education in 1987 at Rakkestad Ungdomsskole, where they completed their secondary education until 1990. Bjørn Erik then attended Mysen Videregående Skole from 1990 to 1993, although no degree or field of study information is available for this period.

In 1993, Glomsrud attended Befalsskolen for hærens samband (BSHSB) for a year, specializing in Tadkom as part of their military training. Bjørn Erik completed their studies here in 1994 and obtained the rank of Sgt.

Following their military education, they enrolled in the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 1995 and pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Technology. Bjørn Erik completed this program in 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Glomsrud has obtained certifications from Microsoft. In October 2020, they received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification, followed by the Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification in March 2021.
