Living Collections Intern at Fort Worth Botanic Garden

Savannah Thomas is a dedicated professional in the field of ecology and environmental science, currently serving as a Living Collections Intern at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, where responsibilities include conducting a tree inventory. Savannah has held leadership roles in the Society for Ecological Restoration, managing the UNT chapter and planning various events as both Graduate Advisor and Chapter President. Additionally, Savannah works as an NSF Graduate Researcher while serving as a GIS Technical Assistant at the University of North Texas, utilizing high-accuracy mapping and GIS software for data management. Previous experiences include research assistance focused on pollution, summer camp counseling, and recycling operations. Savannah is pursuing a Master of Science in Geography with a focus on Geospatial and Ecosystem Science at the University of North Texas, complementing a Bachelor's degree in Ecology for Environmental Science.
