Matthew Vander Roest has extensive experience in product management and engineering, currently serving as the Global Product Manager for DFT Wire & High Performance Alloys at Fort Wayne Metals since 2016. In this role, Matthew identifies market trends and competitive conditions to develop strategic plans and manage the full product life cycle. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Quality Engineer and Technical Leader for Strategic Accounts at Avery Dennison, where collaboration with customers aimed to find solutions and enhance products. Matthew also held the position of Sr. Process Engineer with a focus on production coaters. Earlier in the career, Matthew worked as a Senior Technical Services Engineer at Glatfelter, overseeing multiple paper machine systems. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Paper/Process Engineering from Western Michigan University.
