Jason Wellman is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in advanced manufacturing and automation. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Advanced Manufacturing at Fort Wayne Metals since February 2020, Jason develops and supports company-wide Manufacturing Execution System (MES) efforts, notably utilizing the Ignition platform. Prior to this, Jason held positions at Fort Recovery Industries Inc., Carlex Glass America, LLC, Michelin, and Fort Recovery Industries, where responsibilities included managing engineering teams, conducting research for software development, providing engineering support for equipment, and preparing capital investment documentation. Jason's career in electrical and automation engineering began at PK Controls, where automation control systems were designed and implemented. Jason earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology.
