Daniel Parent has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Daniel started their career in 1998 as a Courtier en assurance de dommages/assurance des particuliers at Dale Parizeau L.M., where they worked until 2000. Daniel then joined Canada vie assurance générale/TD assurance as an Agent en assurance de dommages until 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Courtier en assurance de dommages - Développement des affaires at Marsh. In 2006, they joined Avro - Risk management services as a Vice-president, FPAA, CRM, until 2011 when they joined Fort Financial Group. At Fort Financial Group, they currently hold the position of Vice President, FPAA, CRM, RIBO. Additionally, in 2019, they became a member of CorporateConnections® Canada.
Daniel Parent has a strong background in insurance and risk management. Daniel began their education at Cegep de Sainte-Foy from 1995 to 1998, earning a Diplome d'étude collégiale in Assurance. Daniel then pursued further education at the Institut d'assurance du Canada from 2000 to 2003, obtaining a degree in PAA (Property and Casualty Insurance) / CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) with a focus on Assurance.
Daniel continued their education at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, where they received a degree in FPAA (Fellow, Property and Casualty Insurance) / FCIP (Fellow, Chartered Insurance Professional) from 2003 to 2006. During their time at UQAM, they also studied Gestion des risques and earned a separate CRM (Certified Risk Manager) degree in 2005.
Through their education, Daniel Parent has acquired a strong foundation in risk management and insurance, making him well-suited for their professional roles within these fields.
