Brent Carmack is an experienced professional in the museum and historical site field, currently serving as the Associate Director at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery since 2004. Prior to this role, Brent held various positions at the Nebraska State Historical Society, including Associate Director of Museum and Historic Sites from 2002 to 2004, and had a long tenure from 1989 to 2001 as Historic Sites Coordinator, Museum Registrar, Tourism Facility Operator, and Archeology Lab Technician. Earlier in Brent's career, involvement with the National Archives as an Archives Technician occurred from 1985 to 1986. Brent holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of South Dakota, along with participating in a Seminar for Historic Administration.
