Mats Rjaanes is an accomplished project manager at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI since September 2019, with prior experience as a senior adviser at Konsulent from October 2014 to September 2019. Mats served as a coordinator at the Norwegian Peacebuilding Resource Centre between August 2013 and August 2014 and held the position of executive officer at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 2012 to August 2013. Mats is currently pursuing a PhD in War Studies, focusing on Military Intelligence at King's College London, expected to complete in October 2027. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Political Economy from BI Norwegian Business School, a part-time study in Risk, Vulnerability, and Preparedness from Hedmark University College, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
