Deron Thompson has extensive experience in sales and operations management. Deron began their career as a Sales Representative at Hancor, specializing in the construction markets. Deron developed specifications with municipal regulating bodies and serviced distributor sales accounts. In 1997, Thompson joined Forms+Surfaces as the Director of Sales Operations. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks such as project management, administrative practices development, customer service, contract negotiations, and personnel training. Deron also had regular and periodic travel to domestic and international manufacturing facilities and satellite offices.

Deron Thompson completed their undergraduate studies from 1983 to 1985 at Cuesta College, focusing on general education courses.
