Hsin-Tien Tung has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Hsin-Tien started their career as a Teaching Assistant and Program Manager at National Chung Cheng University from September 2014 to June 2015. Hsin-Tien then worked as a Research Assistant at National Tsing Hua University from January 2017 to August 2017. Afterwards, they took on the role of Director of General Affairs of the Taiwanese Student Association at New Jersey Institute of Technology from November 2017 to January 2019. In 2019, they joined Inteplast Group as a Technical Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer, holding these positions until April 2022. Currently, they are working at Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A. as a Process Engineer starting from May 2022.

Hsin-Tien Tung completed a Certificate Program in Lean Six Sigma at Villanova University in 2021. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology. Their undergraduate studies were carried out from 2012 to 2016 at National Chung Cheng University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Hsin-Tien Tung obtained the iPRSM Advanced User Training Course from Novetus in January 2023. They also received a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Villanova University in October 2022. Additionally, they completed the Experion PKS: Fundamentals - C300 Controller Implementation certification from Honeywell in September 2022, and the PHA Team Leader Training from the Process Safety & Reliability Group (PSRG) in February 2022.
