Kaz Tamai is the Co-founder and CEO of Zypsy since April 2018. In addition to leading Zypsy, Kaz serves as an Investor and Design Partner at multiple organizations including CrystalDB, Numeric, Zylon by PrivateGPT, and FORMLESS, all starting in November 2023. Kaz also holds the role of Investor at Splash since July 2024 and at Noxx since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as CEO Assistant at Mercari US from March 2014 to January 2015. Kaz's educational background includes a Bachelor of Policy Studies with a focus on Applied Informatics and Global Business from Kwansei Gakuin University and an international exchange in Sociology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
