Matt Shlosberg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology and investment industry. Matt began their career in 2002 as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Global Layer. Matt then moved on to become the Managing Director at Hanna Concern in 2004. In the same year, they also took on the role of Chief Information Officer at Livanta LLC, where they worked until 2020. In 2012, they co-founded Zuilder and served as its Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the development of a platform that allowed developers to build apps faster and more cost-effectively. As part of Zuilder, they also served as the Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, and Customer Success at Workuments, a subsidiary of Zuilder. From 2020, Matt began working as the General Partner at Beofund, an investment firm, and later joined Formic Ventures as the Chief of Staff, working closely with the founder and focusing on early-stage investments in human longevity and technology startups. In 2022, they joined Formic Labs as the Chief Operating Officer.
Matt Shlosberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Excelsior University. Matt then obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Maryland in 2006. In 2010, they attended INSEAD for a short-term course on Generating Organisational Buy-In. Additionally, they completed an Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in the same year. Matt also acquired a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, which they completed between 2009 and 2010.
