Michael Symens is a skilled consultant and software engineer with extensive experience in software development and system design. At Solution Design Group since January 2019, Michael offers consulting services. With a long tenure at Cargill since June 2014 as a Senior Software Engineer, Michael contributed to a significant migration project from WinForms to WPF/PRISM and developed ASP applications. Previously, as a .Net Developer at Cargill Animal Nutrition from July 2011 to May 2014, Michael maintained and enhanced applications focused on optimizing animal performance and feed costs. Earlier experiences include a role as a Computer Programmer at Sukup Manufacturing Co., where Michael developed several custom applications and SSRS reports, and internship roles focused on IT and web design at CUNA Mutual Group and Mudd Advertising. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Wartburg College.
