Maurice Chevez has a long history of work experience in various roles. Maurice began their career in 2009 as a Field Service Technician - Lead at ASI System Integration, where they diagnosed and repaired hardware tickets for major vendors including Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Apple computers and printers. Maurice also provided training and guidance for new technicians, and served as back up lead technician with supervisory responsibilities. In 2012, they joined Sotheby's as an End User Services Engineer, providing second level desktop support for North American corporate headquarters and regional offices. Maurice was later promoted to Senior End User Services Engineer, where they served as the global desktop support lead and point of escalation for 14 team members in 4 regions. In 2021, Chevez enrolled in a 500 hour full time Software Engineering Immersive course at General Assembly, where they learned and applied skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Express, Sequelize, EJS, Mongoose, and React. Most recently, in 2022, they joined FormAssembly as a Technical Implementation Manager and Technical Support Specialist, where they analyzed and troubleshooted email support cases for FormAssembly's global customer base.
Maurice Chevez recently completed a course at General Assembly in 2021. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, General from York College of the City University of New York in 2006. Maurice also earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Queensborough Community College in 2004. In 2021, they obtained a Jamf Certified Associate certification from Jamf.
