Betty Malmberg currently serves as the Chair of the National Committee for Food Research at Formas, a research council for sustainable development, and as the Vice Chair of the Board of Linköping University. Previously, Betty Malmberg was a Member of Parliament in Sweden from September 2006 to October 2022 and held the position of Former Chair at Rifo, an organization for cooperation between parliamentarians and researchers. Additionally, Betty Malmberg was a member of the Swedish National Commission for UNESCO from 2011 to 2022 and served on the board of Riksbankens Jubileumsfond from 2013 to 2020. Prior work experience includes being responsible for environmental and infrastructure matters at Östgötatrafiken between 2002 and 2006. Betty Malmberg holds a Master of Science degree in Agronomy with a specialization in food science from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
