Maria Jose Millan has a diverse work experience in the fields of tech design, architecture, interior design, visual merchandising, and event coordination. Maria Jose started their career as an Event Coordinator at Cocoa Producciones in 2015 and worked there until 2018. During this time, they assisted in organizing and managing corporate events, maintained the appearance of event sites, and designed stands and stages for shows.

In 2017, they joined Pineda Covalin as an Interior Designer and later took on the role of Visual Merchandiser. As an Interior Designer, they developed design concepts, prepared interior systems and finishes, and participated in furniture selection. As a Visual Merchandiser, they coordinated the construction process for new store locations, designed window displays and in-store installations, managed project budgets, and worked on furniture design.

In 2021, Maria joined California Closets as an Architect. Their responsibilities included meeting clients, determining their requirements, designing furniture, and delivering projects within deadlines and budgets.

Most recently, in 2022, they joined FORM Kitchens as a Tech Designer.

Maria Jose Millan pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Universidad Motolinía del Pedregal, starting in 2013 and completing it in 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the same university and is currently studying for a Master's Degree in Interior Design, which they began in 2021 and is expected to finish in 2023.
