Michael Ickes, PhD, currently serves as a Metallurgical Engineer at Form Energy since March 2023. Prior to this role, Michael Ickes held various positions at Westinghouse Electric Company from June 2009 to March 2023, including Fellow Engineer and Senior Materials Integrity Engineer. Michael Ickes began their career as a Research Assistant at UPMC from September 2007 to April 2009, where responsibilities included setting up and analyzing experiments and maintaining drug inventory. Michael Ickes holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, completed between 2006 and 2015.
