John D. Shannon serves as the Senior Manager of Site Operations and Workplace Strategy at Form Energy since April 2022. Prior experience includes working at Udemy as the Senior Manager of Global Workplace, where John contributed to the mission of improving lives through learning. Prior to that, John held the position of Facilities Manager at Hines @ Facebook, managing operations for multiple campuses in the San Francisco Bay Area. John's role as Program Manager for Employee Experience and Workplace Operations at Airbnb involved overseeing operations at the company's headquarters for approximately 4,000 employees. John began a notable career at Pixar Animation Studios with roles ranging from Production Resources to Project Manager, supporting technical teams and managing project budgets. Early experience includes serving as Head Waiter at Chez Panisse and as Senior Project Coordinator at Quorum Consulting, where John managed operations for a national study on organ transplantation. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.
