Konrad Hentze is an experienced professional in the field of Earth observation, GIS, and remote sensing, currently serving as a Senior Earth Observation Manager at FORLIANCE since February 2017. Hentze has held various roles, including Data Management and Visualization Specialist at the Land Portal Foundation and Postdoctoral Lecturer and Researcher at The University of Bonn, where contributions were made to the DeMo-Wetlands project focused on automated remote sensing for Rwanda. With a PhD in Geography from The University of Bonn, Hentze's expertise encompasses remote sensing of agriculture, land use change, and teaching across multiple geographic topics. Previous positions include Development Advisor at GIZ GmbH and roles in project management and GIS at organizations such as ForestFinest Consulting eG, Forest Finance Service GmbH, and CartONG.
