Yohann Calpu

SVP, Partnerships & Sales at Forkast Labs

Yohann Calpu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Yohann is currently serving as the SVP of Partnerships & Sales at Forkast Labs, where they are responsible for generating sales, revenue, and partnerships for CryptoSlam and Forkast Labs. Yohann has successfully negotiated deals with numerous industry leaders, resulting in over $2 million in sales in the first two years of operation.

Prior to their role at Forkast Labs, Yohann co-founded Aloomii Inc., an agency specializing in Web3 and AI. In this role, they assisted pre-seed to series A projects with sales, developing business models, finding product market fit, and securing VC funding.

Yohann also has experience as a host and producer for the NFT Hype Podcast and as the original co-founder of EOS Go and creator of EOSRad.io. These roles allowed him to contribute to the development of the EOS community.

Before entering the tech industry, Yohann worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Associate VP, focusing on cybersecurity and technology controls. Yohann also worked as a Senior Technical Consultant for various clients, including IBM, Maersk, Ameriprise, and Genuine Parts Company.

Yohann began their career as a Data Warehouse Systems Coordinator at the Ontario Public Service and later worked as a Software Development Engineer at IBM. In this role, they conducted data analysis, produced reports, and developed strategies to reduce defects in the software development life cycle.

Overall, Yohann Calpu has demonstrated expertise in sales, partnerships, business development, and technology across multiple industries.

Yohann Calpu earned their Bachelor of Engineering and Management degree in Software Engineering and Management from McMaster University, where they studied from 1997 to 2004. In 2013, they attended Robbins-Madanes Training and completed the Core 100 program in Strategic Intervention, finishing in 2016. Yohann Calpu also obtained several additional certifications throughout their career, including the Achieving Personal and Professional Success Specialization from Coursera Course Certificates in June 2017, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum.org in July 2016, ITIL v2 and v3 from the Office of Government Commerce in January 2011, PMP from PMI in July 2008, and Sendible Specialist from Sendible in October 2019.
